Vandana Gupta is a dignified professional Kathak dancer and choreographer. Vandana Gupta has given the performance on stage and television amongst National programmes of dance (Doordarshan).As an A-grade artist, she has been associated with song and drama division ministry of information and broadcasting and has worked for 12 years in Lucknow.

She has performed solo, duet with Nishant Gupta and group ensembles, both classical and folk (traditional), have received critical acclaim at leading festivals all over the country such as:

Besides being an excellent Kathak dancer, she holds a tittle of accomplished and qualified Indian Folk dancer. She has won numerous dance competitions and has received rave reviews from the media and contemporary artists. She is a co-founder and a lead trainer at Swara Institute of Performing Arts, where she has been imparting training in kathak and Indian folk Dances for over 9 Years. In her teaching (choreography), drawing on her knowledge of music and rich, nuanced vocabulary of classical Indian Dance Vandana explores the complex layer of deep meaning in movements, lyrics, giving them a physical interpretation. She has choreographed a number of group ensembles that have been both in classical and folk idiom. Through "Swara Institute of Performing Arts", they provide students a platform (in the form of the live stage) to perform and showcase their kathak skills acquired during their respective course of learning (classes).
